3D Animation and VFX on a commercial with AMBR, a Canadian Cannabis company
Project Overview
While working with Sebastian Hill-Esbrand, the director, and Matt Aitia, the DP, we created a brand film together weaving elements of strong mood lighting, animation and VFX to transform a home environment into a jungle - to create a feeling of aliveness after smoking a cannabis vape pen after a long day.
My Contributions
I have been working with Sebastian for a few years now working on small projects. This project, he brought me in as the VFX supervisor to give advice and feedback remotely on how they should shoot the footage to make it easier on me for the animation. In total, I did 9 VFX shots for the film, creating custom plant animations, smoke FX, and an animated fish reacting to the environment. You can check the work we did together below.
